Services - Cooling Analysis

 

EPS FloTek will perform Cooling analysis to optimize the cooling channel design, part quality and reduce cycle time. Our services include cooling analysis in both Shell and Solid modules depending on your part geometry. Our capabilities include standard injection molding, gas assisted injection molding, thermoset injection molding and insert molding. Cooling analysis evaluate the performance of cooling channel design, temperature distribution in the part and mold. The coolant layout can be modified to obtain the optimum cooling conditions and optimized cycle time. Different mold insert materials, baffles and bubblers can be evaluated beforehand. Cooling analysis will identify and minimize the uneven cooling in the tool which will reduce the warpage of the part. Below is a list of some of the benefits incurred from cooling analysis.
